The app grabs contacts from your Google account and phone's address book so that you can send text messages, place voice calls and start a Hangout, which is what Google calls a video chat.
You can chat one-on-one, or add more participants (up to 10), using your phone's front or rear camera.
Since you’re using this guide select the former option.
Both of these options can be selected or deselected by hitting the corresponding check boxes on the right.
These options can also be disabled later within LINE’s friends settings.

If you have an i Phone or i Pad, your top choice would likely be Face Time, since its built into the operating system and works well.
